The death of Wafula Chebukati, the former IEBC chairperson has really caused stir online. Alot of people have been publicly celebrating the demise of Chebukati, and his family is really hurting for the loss of their beloved one.

In a video that has gone viral online, the GenZ son of Chebukati, his last born has decided to speak out. He said that they are in pain, yet people online are busy celebrating the death of his father. According to him, Chebukati was a statesman who followed the constitution, people just hate him because he was a truthful man, and was always ready to sacrifice his life for the constitution.

He said that he knows very well that he isn’t supposed to react now, but it hurts him seeing people mock his father. He urged Kenyans to kindly stop the mockery and they allow the family to give Chebukati a very decent burial.
