” It Wasn’t Fake, 1 Bodaboda Was To Be Shared By 10 People” Itumbi Opens Up On Ruto’s Empowerment.
Head of creative economy and special projects in Statehouse, Dennis Itumbi has finally decided to open up on William Ruto’s empowerment program. Last weekend they mobilised thousands of youths in Nairobi, took them to the Statehouse and promised to gift them goodies, including motorbikes.
However it emerged that the young people didn’t leave the Statehouse with those motorbikes. Some even decided to complain live on TV that Ruto lied to them, they only took photos with Motorbikes, told to go home, they will be given. However after some days now they haven’t received the motorbikes.
Dennis Itumbi haa said that they were not fake gifts, the gifts of empowerment were given to group leaders. Each group consists of 10 people, this means that, if a group was given a motorbike, then, that motorbike was to be shared by 10 people. According to Itumbi, the group leaders are the ones who are having the empowerment program goodies.
