Inside Uganda Village Where Humans Eat Humans.
Cannibalism which is the act of human beings feasting on their fellow human beings, has been the identity of Rakai District located in Uganda. For about 2 decades ago, the village was linked to cannibalism, something that still makes it to be feared by people.
It was alleged that there was a group of cannibals in the area, and reported that they used to feast on their relatives, village mates and even foreigners.

Famous YouTuber Wode Maya decided to do an exclusive interview about the area, and also to let people know, if it is true that there were cannibals in Rakai or they were just romours.
Wode Maya questioned a good number of people, while in the said village. The village looked isolated, but people there seemed to be living just a normal life like all other human beings.

One of the residents said that it was true that there were allegations of cannibals in their village, but there was no proof. He said that the story has alot of loopholes, because immediately the allegations went viral, the police officers came and arrested all the suspects.
The suspects were later released due to lack of evidence. The resident said that they used to live in fear then, but after getting reports from the police that there were no proof of cannibals in their village, life got back to normal.

The Youtuber went on and did a face on face interview with a brother to a person who was believed to be a cannibal. It was hard to find him, because he thought that they were police officers coming to arrest him.
After convincing him, they managed to do an interview. The man opened up and said that , the stories of cannibalism were just allegations. He said that he was arrested and later released due to lack of evidence.
He also went on and said that his brother whom people claimed that was a cannibal died and they burried him along time ago. The man defended the brother and said that there was no proof that he used to eat fellow human beings.

The Ugandan government was serious about the issue, and they did their investigation very well, to make sure that such an evil act don’t exist in the nation. However what has remained in the minds of many people is that the people of Rakai are cannibals, and changing that perception and impression will take time.
