Jeff Mwathi’s demonstration are still going on. The investigation is also still going on and the DCI Homecide team already revealed that the 23 years old designer was killed and it was not a suicide case as Dj Fatxo and the team claimed.

Peter Kioi who is one of the close friends of Jeffs family in this case, has come out openly to assure Kenyans that justice will prevail. Peter has been at the forefront of demonstrations and he has really pushed the investigation team to be swift.

During the interview, Peter said that he is ready to die for justice for Jeff. He said that we can’t allow such evil things to happen in this nation and the the police try to cover up for the killers.

Peter went on and revealed to the public that, when things seemed to be going slow, him and friends of jeff, had already collected enough money, to go to Kitui and seek the services of the witchdoctor.
However after the DCI report and also after seeing the efforts of the homicide team, they decided to give that money to Jeffs mother as upkeep and also just to support her during this difficult time.
” Tulikuwa tushachanga pesa za kuenda Kitui Kuroga Dj Fatxo and all the people who were involved in Jeff’s death, but tukapea mamake pesa baada ya kuona nguvu za DCI team”.
Peter and the whole team are very optimistic that Justice will prevail, because Jeff Mwathi’s body might be exhumed, postmartum will be done and the killers will have to face the law.
