“The Mobile Subscriber Cannot Be Reached” Meet Mary The Beautiful Lady Behind The Safaricom Voice

Safaricom is one of the most famous and profitable telecommunications company in Kenya, it has been existing in the country for over 20 years. There are some voices from the company, that are the trademark of the entire organisation.

One of the voices that most Kenyans who use Safaricom services can relate is ‘ the mobile subscriber cannot be reached’ this happens mostly when you trying to call someone but the call isn’t going through. There is also a Kiswahili version of the same voiceover which is ‘ Samahani mteja wa nambari unayopiga, hapatikani kwa sasa’.

The voice-overs are not AI generated, but is a beautiful lady identified as Mary. She decided to reveal herself to the public, and even did the voiceovers live on camera.
