” I Don’t Regret Telling The Police To Shoot Protesters In The Legs” President William Ruto

President William Ruto was featured in an interview with a famous international media station, Alijazeera, they cornered him about his statements during the GenZs protest in Kenya, where he directly told the police officers to shoot protesters in the legs.

President William Ruto confidently said that he doesn’t regret making those statements, and he will never regret. He said that the law allows the police to use force, including shooting protesters on the legs when necessary.

Ruto said that protest was infiltrated by goons who were looting people’s properties, hence the only way the police could have handled this was by shooting at the goons in the legs. He said that the police also know that they are supposed to use that force when their lives are in danger or when protecting the lives of other people.
