Reactions After, 71 Yrs Old Man Starts Walking From Nakuru Heading To Homabay For Madaraka Day Event
A 71 years old man identified as Stephen Kariuki from Nakuru County, has caused stir online, after he decided to start his journey, walking on foot from Nakuru to Homabay, to attend the Madaraka Day celebration, that will happen on Sunday, June 1st.
Kariuki was ambushed on his way by the county commissioner of Homabay, who started questioning him. The man said that he is walking willingly, because he loves his country and he is also doing this to civilize Kenyans as he informs them how Madaraka day is a very important day for this nation.
He said that he is optimistic that on Saturday he will arrive in Homabay County and Sunday he will attend the event. Kariuki denied the lift offer from the county commissioner, and said he is okay, and he personally made a decision that he will walk from Nakuru to Homabay.
