Mheshimiwa Mtarajiwa: Citizen TV, Lulu Hassan Reportedly Set To Vie For Mvita MP Seat In 2027.
Reliable sources have alleged that famous Swahili news anchor, Lulu Hassan is set to exit Citizen TV and join politics in 2027. She is eyeing for a parliamentary seat in Mvita, her reflector jackets and T-shirts are already out with captions “Lulu Hassan Mama Mvita” .
Despite all this, Lulu Hassan is yet to confirm publicly that she will be on the ballot in 2027, however, she has several times hinted on joining politics. Therefore there are chances that in 2027, she will be on the ballot, and she might win the Mvita parliamentary seat.
If confirmed, then Lulu Hassan will become the second senior journalist from Royal media, who will be exiting the newsroom to join politics.Trevor Ombija has already made it public, that he will vie for Nyakach member of parliament seat in 2027.
