Meet Boniface Muchiri, Harambee Stars Player Who Dropped From Being A Priest To Focus On Football
Boniface Muchiri could have been a padri now spreading the gospel of God, but he decided to follow his passion and now he is really spreading the ball in the pitch with his crazy playing skills. Parents wanted him to focus on being a pastor, but he dropped out of the priesthood school, decided to focus on football, now he has earned Ksh.5.5 Million in less than 20 days.
The 29 years old superstar, was born and raised in Busia county, he is a Teso. Muchiri started showing passion in football when he was still a toddler. After highschool, Bishop Sulumeti took him to a priesthood school in Maseno, they wanted him to be a padri. Muchiri was there for sometime but he dropped out and decided to focus on football.
He secured a chance at Nzoia Sugar, and during COVID 19 period, he had just gone on trial in USA but returned after 6 months. He then joined Tusker FC and later became a KDF after joining Ulinzi Stars. Muchiri is now a top star in Ben McCarthy squad that is playing CHAN tournament.
