Kimani Mbugua’s Dad Call Out Citizen TV For Refusing To Support The Burial Of Kimani.
Kimani Mbugua’s father is going viral online, after he decided to call out Citizen TV for refusing to support, even send a single coin, for the burial of their former employee Kimani Mbugua. The dad was emotional as he revealed how Citizen TV neglected his son, despite working for them for several years.
He said that he was expecting that Royal media will come through and even help them as a family to give Kimani, a very decent burial, but they haven’t even showed any signs of supporting them.
Kimani died on 15th October 2025, the same day that Raila died. He died by suicide, and he was battling with mental health problems, the illness that started when he was an employee at Citizen TV. He was forced to quit the job, tried to seek medication but his health deteriorated. Upto his death Mike Sonko has been the one supporting him.
