Kericho County Governor Mutai Exposed of Buying Tissue Paper @ Ksh.275 & 300Ml Sodas @ Ksh.500.
The governor of Kericho Eric Mutai, is said to have bought several tissue papers and sodas for events in the county. According to his records he used to buy one tissue paper that normally goes for about Ksh.30 bob he bought at ksh.275, when it comes to sodas, he bought several crates, and a small soda of 300ML that goes for about ksh.50 bob, the governor bought it at Ksh.500.
Those are among the list of many things that the governor is said to have overpriced their prices. He even acquired several hand towels, and each one of them was Ksh.3,600. The market price of hand towels in Kenya is between Ksh.50 bob to Ksh.150 bob.
In addition to overpriced goods, the governor is reported to have devoured the money that was contributed to support the victims of Londiani accident. Out of Ksh. 13 Million that was raised, only Ksh.4 Million was given to the victim, remaining Ksh.9 Million the governor took.
Eric Mutai is now depending on the senate to save him again, but this time round it will be difficult, and chances of him being impeached are very high.
