Julia Njoki Who Was Arrested During Sabasaba Maandamano Dies While In Police Custody

A Kenyan GenZ lady identified as Julia Njoki is no more, the lady was arrested during the Sabasaba demonstration in Nanyuki area. It has been reported that Julia collapsed and died after being allegedly assaulted by the police officers while in custody. She had multiple head injuries.

She sustained multiple injuries, and when she was taken to Nanyuki referral hospital, Julia had sustained multiple head injuries. The police officers alleged that she had sustained the injuries after collapsing during the running battles between the police and protesters.

On the other hand the doctor from the facility has said that for Julia to sustain such injuries, she had to fall from a certain significant height. This now seems to be another case that is related to the death of famous blogger Ojwang, who also died while under police custody.
