” I Got 120 Marks In KCPE & E In KCSE” Broke And Famous Gengetone Star Shalkido Reveals.
One of the most famous Gengetone artist, who is now broke and asking for financial support from Kenyans, Shalkido, has finally decided to open up on how he failed terribly in school. His only hope in life was to succeed in music or comedy industry.
Speaking in an interview at Obinna TV, Shalkido said that in primary school, he did KCPE, and in all the 5 subjects he managed to score a total of 120 marks out of 500.
He managed to join secondary school, he tried to read but he was still very dumb, he couldn’t grasp things, he was a slow learner. He managed to score a mean grade of E . However he was among the top students in music festival, he knew that his talent will help him to escape poverty.
His dream came through when Sailors gang became one of the top gengetone crew in Kenya. They used to earn upto Ksh.100,000 daily, but he never saved. Gengetone music collapsed, his crew separated and now he is broke asking for financial support from Kenyans.
