The self proclaimed chairman of the gospel music in Kenya , Ringtone Apoko , opened up about his expensive lifestyle. Most people usually question how comes he is living a very rich lifestyle , yet the gospel music industry in Kenya is on its knees.

Speaking in an interview. Ringtone said that the secret to his success is that he started investing earlier. He said that his life changed completely during the 2013 election campaigns.

Apoko was among the team of musicians who campaigned for Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto. He was incharge of the musician campaign team, hence all the funds to pay the artists and entertainers were usually send to him.

Ringtone said that the retired president , Uhuru Kenyatta used to pay him ksh.1 Million daily. This money he used to pay few musician and on a day he could save upto ksh.600,000.

He was paid this amount of money for over 100 days . He really saved alot of money. He used the savings to buy a mansion in Runda Estate. That is how he managed to buy an expensive mansion in Runda.

The other money he used for investment and other businesses. Since 2013 , Ringtone has been living a very rich lifestyle. According to him, he is the only musician in Kenya , who owns a mansion, both in Runda and Karen.
