A good number of Nairobi MCAs held a meeting on Sunday 31st August, they together decided that in 2 weeks time they will table a motion to impeach governor Sakaja, and they will make sure they have impeached him. Already 70 out of 123 MCAs have signed the motion.

The MCAs have revealed that they have several grounds of impeaching the governor, one of them is that he isn’t releasing the money for bursaries in wards, he is not connected with the ground. Alot of city projects have stalled and the governor doesn’t care. He never picks MCAs phone calls, he always ignores.

In addition to this the city is dirty and there is alot of corruption happening in Nairobi. The MCAs have vowed not to turn back, they are now going in the second phase which is to table the motion, vote and together impeach the governor. Later the senate will either agree with them or disagree.
