ODM party Raila Odinga has caused stir online, after he publicly decided to attack the church leaders who are supporting the GenZs protests.
Speaking in Jomvu Mombasa, Raila Odinga said that those church leaders are hypocrites, they are the biggest pretenders Kenya has ever have. According to Raila, the church leaders refused to support ODM in 2023, when they really needed them.
ODM wanted to hold a memorial service for the people who had lost their lives during the protests that happened that year, but the church even refused to host them. The church leaders never supported them. But he is now shocked that they are supporting the GenZs protests.
According to Raila, Kenyans want a peaceful country, hence the protest of GenZs should be very peaceful, because peace is what Kenyans have been fighting for years.
