Sasa Hii Atapeleka Wapi: Reactions After A Nairobi Protester Spotted Going Away With Traffic Lights.
What started as a peaceful protest, turned into vandalism, and as usual thieves took advantage of the situation and decided to steal essentials in Nairobi CBD. They managed to vandalize several traffic lights, and in a viral video, a young man is spotted making his way out of Nairobi CBD while carrying traffic lights.
Here is the screenshot from the video, the fearless young man was bragging as he walks away with the traffic lights.
Others were spotted carrying the streets signs, for example the Mfangano street sign was stolen. All the dustbins in Nairobi CBD were damaged. Recently Geoffrey Mosiria installed flashy designer lights in the city, but they were all stolen. The demonstrations led to alot of damages in the city and alot of young people lost their phones. Sarova hotel was also vandalized by goons.
