The story of a kenyan lady identified as Maureen is a very sad one, this is after the lady narrated how her cruel husband wanted to kill her because she had decided to go to the city and hustle.

Being the first born in her family, her humble background didn’t provide her with a conducive environment to go to school and gain knowledge. This forced her to get married at an early age of 15 years.

The beautyfull and curvy Maureen decided to get married to her best friend, who later turned to her worst enemy. The two were blessed with four children, and when things started to be tough, Maureen decided to relocate to the city to go and hustle.
The decision wasn’t taken lightly by her insecure husband, just a week after leaving it was reported that her husband had brought a co wife. Maureen was shocked and decided to go back and see by herself.
It was at this time, when the crime scene took place. The core wife and her husband had planned to finish her, the reason being that she relocated to Nairobi and her husband was insecure, fearing that other men will have her .

When she reached home, her husband took a machete chopped her face, certainly removing one eye. He also chopped her fingers, and took himself to the police to report that Maureen had died.
However by good luck and efforts of the doctors, her life was rescued. It has taken her time to heal from the scar. Her beauty was destroyed, and she decided to quit marriage for good, she decided to take care of her four children alone.

Maureen has been trying to hustle, she is working in a hotel, whereby she is a cleaner, and she also bought a motorbike by the support of one of the people with good hearts. She is optimistic that things will eventually work out one day.
