Boniface Kariuki’s Mum, Gets Emotional At Memorial Service Of Her Son Who Was Shot Dead By Police.
The final journey of the mask vendor , Boniface Kariuki, who was shot in the streets of Nairobi, at a very close range by police officer, happened today at All saints cathedral Nairobi. Kariuki died after doctors tried to save his life for about 1 week.
The brain was badly damaged and the bullets fragments couldn’t be removed from his head. Her mother is in pain, and during the memorial service, she couldn’t hold her tears.
She was very emotional, keeping in mind that Boniface Kariuki was their only son. Eric Omondi and other mourners were there for her, but it wasn’t enough to calm down the mum. It is indeed a very painful experience, and no one deserves to die in pain, the way Boniface died.
The family is optimistic that justice will be served, the police who killed Boniface Kariuki have already been arrested and the case file has been opened.
