One of the most famous and talented gengetone artists, Shalkido, who is a member of Sailors Gang a group that split after the fall of gengetone music ,is currently struggling in life.
Shalkido is living in a single room with no bed, sleeping on the floor, and he is a father of one.
He is broke and seeking financial help from Kenyans through the Sisi kwa Sisi platform run by Eric Omondi.
Shalkido said that he has tried to hustle, but things have been going badly, and he now has no option but to ask for support from Kenyans.
He is requesting Eric Omondi to urge Kenyans of goodwill to raise money for him so that he can buy a motorbike and hustle to provide for his family.
Despite having songs on YouTube with millions of views, the split of Sailors Gang left its members financially broke due to the deals they had signed.
Most of them are struggling financially, and some have even turned to drug addiction.
