Nairobi: Police Arrest Passengers In A PSV Matatu For Chanting ” Wantam”

A police in Nairobi, decided to arrest all passengers in a PSV matatu , commanded the driver to drive them to the police station and the reason is that they all chanted ” Wantam” , when he was trying to arrest one of the passengers for no reason.

The incident happened on Wednesday evening, and people had boarded the Matatu from town heading to their homes. The police officer stopped the Matatu, and he started to forcefully arrest one of the passengers for no reasons.

Kenyans in the Matatu stopped him from arresting the person and they started chanting ” Wantam” . The officer got angry and arrested the passengers in the whole vehicle, he commanded the driver to drive the Matatu to the police station, after they reached there, he told all of them to get out and took them to a cell.
