Kenyans React After A GenZ Lawyer Called Higher court Judges ‘ You Guys’
The Gachagua’s case had alot of drama at Milimani Law Courts, and one of the GenZ lawyers who was representing the impeached deputy president, decided to create a light moment.
The young man who seemed to be very smart and eloquent, started his argument very well and everyone including the senior counsel were very keen to hear from the future senior counsel.
However the lawyer decided to refer to the high court judges ‘you guys ‘ while he was trying to tell them what they are supposed to do. This was a sign of disrespect and it created a light moment, he was instructed to withdraw the statements and refer to the judges with their respectful titles.
He withdrew and later referred to them as ‘ your lordship’. This also caused stir online and as used Kenyans on Instagram never lack comments.
