” Ilijiwasha Yenyewe” Mawego GenZs Denie Burning Down The Police Station

In Homabay county, the GenZs of Mawego have come out to defend themselves, according to the youths, they didn’t burn the police station, they just took Albert Ojwang’s body there, and the matchstick mysteriously hit the wall of the station, lit itself causing the fire.

That was a sarcastic explanation from the young people, linking it to the response of the police officers from central police station in Nairobi. The police were trying to cover up the death of Ojwang by claiming that he hit himself on the walls of the cells and died.

The anger was evident amongst the Mawego youths, who took the body of Ojwang at Mawego police station, where he was seen last alive, and they decided to burn down the police station. No police was injured but the fire really caused a very huge damage.
