” I Make Ksh.120,000 Weekly From Selling Sukuma Wiki” 27 Years Old Kenyan GenZ Reveals

After completing his form four, and excelling well, Ishimael Wachira, didn’t manage to proceed with his education due to lack of school fees. The young man aged 27 Years, decided to venture into Sukuma Wiki farming ( Kale). He is really making money, because every week he makes Ksh.120,000 and every month he makes ksh.480,000.

Speaking via a viral documentary about farming, Wachira said that he started with planting Sukuma on half an acre land, the harvest was awesome. He then expanded his farming time to time, and now he is doing large-scale farming. He is farming kales on 2 and half an acre land.

The young man said that he harvest his Sukuma Wiki, every week, and according to them a week has atleast 10 days. Every week he harvest 60 bags of Sukuma Wiki. The least amount of money for selling one bag is Ksh.2000. This means that every week this young man makes Ksh.120,000, translating to Ksh. 480,000 monthly.

Ishmael Wachira said that Sukuma Wiki farming has changed his life completely, he has ventured into other agricultural practices. He now farms maize on a 20 acres farm. He is also doing poultry farming, he has also several dairy cows.

The young man admitted publicly that he is a millionaire, and in every good season of Sukuma Wiki he makes Ksh.4 Million the entire season. He said maintaining Sukuma Wiki is cheap, you only need to control pests and diseases.

When it comes to marketing, he has a wide market, he is based in Kitale, but he mostly transport his Sukuma Wiki to Lodwar and also some parts of Kisumu. Ishimael has encouraged Kenyans youths, especially GenZs to join agriculture, it has good money.
