The young man appeared extremely happy and seemed to be having the time of his life as he watched Harambee Stars players in tears following their defeat.
The team captain, Aboud Omar, has responded to the video, expressing deep disappointment with Haki’s behavior. According to Aboud, the gesture showed a clear lack of respect for the Harambee Stars and the country as a whole. He emphasized that as a nation, we rise and fall together, and that football should be a unifying force not something that divides us.
The reason behind Haki’s celebration is still unclear. However, some speculate that his actions may be driven by frustration over not being included in the squad selected by coach Benni McCarthy.
