Comedian 2Mbili decided to open up on his USA tour while he was still an upcoming comedian. It happened in the year 2017, and it is something that he never expected because he was very green in the comedy industry.

Speaking live on Radio 47 with Billy Miya and Mwalimu Mbaruk, on the famous segment of their show ” Hii sijawai sahau’. 2mbili said that his comedy tour to USA is something that he will live to remember forever.
He said that a certain woman approached him via Facebook, and told him that he likes his jokes, and she has been selected to perform in USA. At first he thought it was a scammer, but the woman went on, to help him get a working Visa and paid full fare for him.
He landed in USA, received well, and he started performing in different states. 2mbili said that the salary there or rather thr performance fee is very high. For performing for 30 minutes only, he used to be paid ksh.290,000.
He stayed in USA for three months, meaning that he made millions of money. He however said that , during that time he had alot of responsibilities, because he had to provide for his family, support upcoming comedians in Kenya, who included the likes of Shiti.

He said that he was very grateful for the opportunity and it was a life changing opportunity. 2mbili came back to Kenya and during the COVID 19 period he decided to join the field of YouTubers.
He converted his YouTube channel to 2mbili tv, started to interview celebrities. Later came up with celeb ride show. He has made it on YouTube and it pays all his bills.
