Controversial ODM youth leader Kasmuel Macoure has decided to open up on how Raila Odinga used to support him financially. He was like his mentor, father and he used to treat him like his own son.
Kasmuel said that he never used to ask the former prime minister for money. Raila was the one who used to ask for his accounts and then give him money, tell him that he should use it as pocket money.
Kasmuel said that the smallest amount of money, Raila Odinga ever gave him was ksh.100,000. When he was on his USA tour, Raila Odinga gave him 8000 dollars which is equivalent to Ksh.1 Million. He always called him to follow up on how he was doing and also to guide him.
Raila had promised to mentor him and make him one of the best young politicians in Kenya. Kasmuel was emotional, as he revealed how the death of Raila has hurt him and why he will forever live to remember him.
