Pastor Sue Munene: My Dowry Was Ksh.750,000 But My Husband Had Only Ksh.50,000

Famous ‘twa twa’ pastor, Pastor Sue Munene, has opened up on how she helped her husband to marry her, this is after the elders demanded for a dowry price of Ksh.750,000. That time her husband Munene was still struggling, he was broke and had only Ksh.50,000. Because he was a man with pure intentions and a good man she decided to help him.

Speaking during an interview at Tv47, Sue said that she stood up, and urged both the elders and his parents, to accept whatever Munene has. She told them that Munene is a very good man, and currently he is struggling financially, he can’t afford that money.

She told them that the only way he can get the money is through loan, this means that they will start their marriage with a loan of Ksh.700,000. Sue managed to convince everyone and they accepted Ksh.50,000, told Munene to be paying the other money in bits, because it is disrespectful to pay full dowry once.

Sue said her bargaining for her husband was worth it, and now they have been married for over 20 years. The marriage is peaceful and they are really enjoying.
