Kenyan singer and one of the funniest musician , Stevo Simple Boy has opened up on financial struggles. This was through an exclusive interview with Nairobi news.

Speaking during his birthday, Stevo Simple Boy started by saying that his mum back at home and siblings are missing him, he is also missing them, because it has been a year since he last visited them.
Stevo said that the last time he was in Oyugis was January 2023, during the burial of hid dad. Since then he hasn’t managed to go back home, because of financial struggles. He also said that it could have been easier for him to use Matatu, but his celebrity status can’t allow him, it can even start lowering his brand.
The musician said that It is true that Salasya helped him, after paying four months rent and also trying to stabilise him. He also appreciated Babu Owino for coming through for him. However he still have some financial struggles but he is really working smart to fix them.
He said that struggles are part of life, and for now he is trying the best to beat those challenges. He said that he only performs at events that he has been booked. The musician also said that he is optimistic that 2024 will be amazing, because he has already dropped one banger and is working on others.
