” Papa Could Have Been Saved, Hangekufa” Awinja Opens Up On The Sudden Death Of Papa Shirandula

During the COVID 19 period, Kenya lost one of the best actors in the country, Charles Bukeko. He died due to short of breath, which was a clear sign that he was battling with Corona virus. His sudden death shocked alot of people, mostly his close friends and colleagues. One of them is Jackie Vike famous as Awinja Nyamwalo.

Speaking in an interview with Dr Ofweneke, Awinja said that just 2 days before his death, they were together in Karen shooting a film. She said that it is something that caught her in disbelief. After digging deeper into his death, they found out that Papa Shirandula could have been easily saved.

There was recklessness somewhere and that is what led to his death. By the time he was being rushed to Karen hospital it was late and unfortunately that is how Charles Bukeko died. He was buried in a haste, and they weren’t given enough time to mourn him. Something that still pains Awinja up-to-date.
