Jalang’o started receiving backlash online, after he decided to join Kenya Kwanza side by supporting their agendas , and supporting William Ruto, which is contrary to his party ODM and his coalition Azimio La Umoja, which is opposing the Kenya Kwanza Government.

His decision made him to be hated by the supporters of Raila Odinga, and unlike before, Jalang’o’s comment section on every post, is full of hatred and insults from Azimio La Umoja followers who played a great role in making him the MP of Lang’ata.

Jalas shared a very powerful bible verse, as he wishes all Kenyans a happy Easter holidays on his social media pages. Instead of Kenyan receiving the message in a positive way, they started insulting him, and a good number of people were comparing him to Judas Iscariot.
Azimio La Umoja supporters are still hurt With Jalang’os political decision, and some have even vowed not to vote for him in 2027.
