The controversial story surrounding Kiptum with Edna Awour relationship, has been finally addressed by Edna herself, and she has given every bit that people wanted to hear .

Speaking in an Interview with Tuko News, Edna who is 22 years, said that she first met Kiptum when she was in highschool, and started dating when she was in form three.

After completing form four, she moved in with Kiptum, in 2019 , and she was aware that Kiptum was a married man. However she continued being his girlfriend because he was a very loving and caring man, any woman could have wished to have.
She went on and got pregnant for him in 2021, and they decided to name their baby Cherop Kiptum. Which is also the name of Kiptum’s last born daughter with his main wife. Edna said that Kiptum’s wife and her knew each other and they used to communicate.

However when she started dating Kiptum, they were not in good terms with his wife , they had differences , but with time she accepted that they are two , and she even used to call her sometimes when she couldn’t find kiptum on phone.
Edna said that Kiptum had promised to marry her, despite having set to wed his wife on April 2024. She said that he had great plans for her, including taking her back to school.
Despite not being recognised during the burial of Kiptum, Edna is optimistic that the child will be supported and the truth will also come out once DNA is done. She said that she has full evidence and even a good number of Kiptum friends know that they were dating.
