The famous Mugithi superstar Dj Fatxo has opened up on being broke. Speaking in an interview with Mpasho, Fatxo narrated how he has been affected both mentally and financially.

The death of Jeff Mwathi happened in February and he died in Dj Fatxo’s premises at Safaripark area. After the story went viral online, Fatxo really suffered alot, because all the companies he was endorsing terminated their contracts with him.

The Dj revealed that he had also planned his international shows that were to happen abroad , in USA and Australia. They were to happen this year, and he was sure of getting some good amount from the shows.

The Dj said that he hasn’t been performing for the past 3 months. Being a young artist in the industry , this has really affected him financially. He is not making any money.

Fatxo revealed that before Jeff Mwathi’s incident , he used to have shows from Thursday to Sunday and through those shows he used to make good amount of money. He has missed that money for 3 good months.

However he said that he is grateful that he has never lacked food, and also his family and close friends have been very supportive to him. They have helped him to deal with his mental state and also make sure that he is fine.
He said that he is not sure of his comeback, he does alot of things in the music industry, maybe he might comeback and just be behind the scenes, because he fears of his security. He is still planning and he is sure that the God he serves will come through for him.

Dj Fatxo also said that he has several Air and bnbs, so after being locked out of his house at Redwood apartments in Kasarani, he has just been residing in his Air and bnbs. He is optimistic that very soon things will be fine, because he was declared innocent.
