Where Dr Mutiso’s Killers Were Allegedly Transported To After They Were Exposed By Gachagua

Former Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has made a fresh claim regarding the whereabouts of police officers arrested in connection with the death of Dr Victoria Mutiso, alleging that they were later released and facilitated to relocate to Uganda.

According to Gachagua, the officers who had been taken into custody over the case were not held for long before being set free.

He claims that beyond their release, arrangements were made to help them relocate across the border into Uganda, effectively placing them outside the reach of ongoing investigations within Kenya.

Gachagua went further to describe what he sees as a recurring pattern in the country, stating that it has become common to witness goons being escorted to carry out acts of violence.

He said this pattern has been observed repeatedly, yet no meaningful action has been taken to address it or hold those responsible accountable.

The claims add another layer to the already complex investigation into Dr Mutiso’s death, which has seen multiple allegations emerge regarding the handling of suspects linked to the case.

Gachagua’s remarks suggest a broader concern about accountability within law enforcement, particularly regarding how individuals connected to serious crimes are treated once in custody.

Neither the police nor any government agency has responded to Gachagua’s claims about the officers being relocated to Uganda. As with his previous statements on the matter, this allegation remains attributed solely to him and has not been independently verified.
