    DCI : Investigation of Jeff Mwathi’s Death are Over.

    The Director of Criminal Investigation, Mr Amin has broke silence about Jeff Mwathi’s death case, that has been the trending topic in Kenya for the past two months.

    Speaking to online media , who had a private meeting with him, Amin took them step by step on how the investigation has been done, and also told them why it has been a long process.

    He assured them that the team has already concluded the whole investigation and they Will be forwarding the files to the ODPP Nordin Hajji for prosecution and all other remaining processes.

    Amin said that the process has taken time because, they wanted to find credible evidence, so that if they make any arrest, they will have enough evidence to forward for the person found guilty to be charged in the court of law and later jailed.

    The DCI said that they haven’t arrested any suspect, because it is a critical case, and it is not a one day case. According to the laws, the suspects are supposed to be arraigned in court after 22 hours, and this case has taken them upto 2 months to conclude their investigation.

    He said that the autopsy results and other findings are among the key reasons why Jeff Mwathi’s death case has taken long. The results are already out , and the tabling of the evidence found and all other things will be done today on 19th April at the ODPP office.

    Nordin Hajji and the team will have to go through the files, and after that they will inform the public all the findings and also the people found guilty of Jeff Mwathi’s case, because it was concluded by the homicide team as a murder case and not suicide as Dj Fatxo and the team claimed.
