Naiboi is among the long list of the most famous musician in Kenya, between 2010- 2021 , who really went silent. I mean is among the musicians who went silent after covid 19 period. He was among the best producers in the country, and we can’t tell what really happened to him or why he just went silent all over sudden.

Naiboi joined music industry of Kenya in early 2000s, he used to refer to himself as Rapdamu. He used to rap, but he wasn’t among the famous rappers, so it took him about 14 years for him to start being a brand in the country. He therefore changed his name to Naiboi and started a record label known as Pacho.

In the year 2015 , he dropped a song known as “WelleWelle” which he featured Timmy Tdat. He then dropped other songs such as ‘Tingika’ , ‘problem’. The two songs and Pacho record label made Naiboi a famous name in the nation. His songs started to get streams in Tvs and radio shows.

The Changing year, and Gods time was in 2018 . This is after he had decided to fully focus on music. He dropped a banger known as 2in1 , it was a game changer. It was an international song and it really made him famous in Africa and abroad. It was the best song in the country 2018 and he even won several awards.

This made him to feature in Coke Studio 2019 , where he really performed very well, and represented the nation to a top notch level. After that he joined Khaligraph Jones in campaigning for play kenya music movement.

From here things started going left. Corona virus came, and things really went left for Naiboi. He had signed a contract with Universal Music record label. They had a misunderstanding and the label banned him from releasing music for 2 years.

He opened up about what was happening to him, and this  was how Naiboi just started to disappeared. He dropped an Ep in 2021 buh it wasn’t that successful. In 2022 he tried and dropped a single song, but it didn’t get many streams as he expected.

According to reliable sources, it was revealed that Naiboi decided to take a long music break, and he relocated to USA. He is really doing well abroad. He is living a very lavish lifestyle and things are just cool. Kenyans really miss his music and they are hopefully that he will make a comeback sooner.
