One of the most celebrated socialite in East Africa, who is based in South Africa, Zari Hassan has come out openly to reveal to the public, what her husband Shakib paid as a dowry.

Zari and her young energetic husband Shakib got married earlier this year ( 2023), through a Muslim traditional private wedding which happened in South Africa, and it happened during the Muslim fasting period.

Speaking in an interview with Rick Media from Tanzania, Zari confirmed it is true that her and Shakib are now legally married and they are a husband and wife. She went on and revealed the dowry price.

Zari said that she is the one who negotiated for her dowry price, because she didn’t want to overburden her husband. Zari said that she has alot of money, she has achieved alot, her businesses are doing well, she is a billionaire, so her requesting for money won’t make any sense, because she has money already.
She requested for a Quaran only, this is an Islam holy book, she told her husband that her dowry price is a Quaran , Shakib bought it and gave it to her.

Zari said that the only thing she wants more is God’s favour, and being a Muslim, the only way to strengthen her relationship with Allah is through reading the Quaran and doing what the holy book requires every Musilm to do. She is now growing her faith and she is a very happy wife to Shakib.
In conclusion, the dowry of Zari Hassan was only a Quaran and there is no money that Shakib paid to Zari’s family as a dowry to marry her.
