    Trevor Ombija of Citizen Tv is one of the most successful journalist , both in the field of journalism and also entrepreneur. Trevor has invested alot in businesses and as a result , he doesn’t have only one income generating sources.

    The TV presenter owns one of the biggest restaurants in Kileleshwa, Nairobi. Remember this is one of the suburbs in the city, and majority of rich people stay here.

    The hotel is called  Samaki Samaki, a name aptly summarising its menu, the high-end restaurant is located in the affluent neighbourhood of Kileleshwa along Othaya Road.

    Speaking in one of the interviews with an online media house, Trevor Ombija said that he co-own  the hotel . They official opened it in 2021, and its the bank loan that helped them to launch such a big hotel. He said they are still paying the loan. The hotel is worth ksh. 60 Million.

    The restaurants deals with all sea food, all sorts of foods and drinks including cocktails. We were fashioning it around sea food and Jazz. They also have the Kienyeji  food and also Nyama  Choma , without forgetting Ugali and other local dishes.

    The Journalist also said that it is located in a conducive environment , and  they also do invite famous deejays and group bands to perform.

    So far so good the only challenge that they were facing was revocation of the license due to loud volume music. This restaurant was in the list of those that were threatened to be closed.
