    Just like Moyadavid , Bena wa Malines is also another content creator who has gained fame via Tiktok. His inspiring comic videos have gone viral and currently he is a very big brand in Kenya. He has over 400,000 followers on tiktok and other platforms are still growing.

    Background of Bena Wa Malines

    His real name Bernard Kamulu. He is a 3rd born in a family of 7children . Bena comes from a very humble family. He attended Muhoho high school in Gatundu and later joined Mount Kenya University to study journalism. He is a 4rth year student.

    Journey to Fame .

    It hasn’t been a very easy journey.Before making it to the limelight, he had given up several times.Bena said that since he was young he has just been a very funny person. It is something natural ,so he decided to make it more productive.

    Working as a Matatu Conductor.

    At Mount Kenya University,as a comrade, Bena had to find out a way of survival. In order to pay his bills ,he started working as a Matatu Conductor . He is a certified Conductor and this is how he used to get upkeep and even sometime use the money to pay bit of fees , though he had sponsors.

    Gaining fame .

    This started with one of his videos going viral. He did the video using his friends phone, because he had no phone. The funny video went viral and people started mimicking his voice. The” Pulahia Maisha” slogan came next and this was his breakthrough.

    Bena wa Malines became his brand name .He left his Conductor job and started focusing on content creation. So far so good Bena is paying his bills via content creation .
