Samuel Abisai became a millionaire through betting, he was the first Kenyan to win the Sportpesa jackpot. Abisai won Ksh.221 Million, and 8 years down the line he still regrets some financial mistakes he made with the money. However he has also invested very well and he is living a very lavish lifestyle.

Abisai said that one of the financial mistakes he did was buying an apartment block in Rongai for Ksh.40 Million. He expected to get his returns in 7 years, however things went left, he realised that the apartment didn’t have the value he was expecting.

It was hectic to manage clients, he used to make about Ksh.200,000 monthly and this was very low, because he was expecting Ksh.500,000 monthly. He therefore decided to sell the apartment and made a loss of Ksh.4 Million. That is something he still regrets.
