Video: Sankok Reveals That He Refused Pastor To Heal His leg For Fear Of Loosing His Job

The EALA Member of Parliament, who also represents people with disabilities, David Ole Sankok, has publicly admitted that he rejected prayers from a pastor who was attempting to perform a miracle by healing his leg. Sankok said that he feared if his leg were healed, he would lose his job as an MP representing people with disabilities. This would have been a major blow, as there would be no more substantial salary and government benefits.

Speaking in an interview with KBC, Sankok said that the incident occurred when he was still a member of the National Assembly, representing people with disabilities. He said he saw the pastor as an enemy of progress.

Sankok added that if the pastor had successfully healed his leg, he would have broken it again because of his job. The position comes with a very high salary and many benefits; therefore, he can’t afford to lose it easily. He also enjoys representing people with disabilities in Parliament because he understands how to voice their concerns.
