NRG Radio presenter Dante has caused a stir online after opening up about how he used to strongly believe that the offerings people give in church are taken directly to God.

Speaking in a viral video, Dante said that when he was a child, he used to think that when church members donated offerings in the form of cash, the pastors would take the money to a special place and leave it there, so that God could come and collect it at some point when no one was around.

However, after growing up, he realized that the offerings usually go into the pastors’ pockets. He now understands that it is a way of appreciating the man of God for preaching the gospel and giving church members hope and inspiration.
