Cartoon Comedian is one of the best actress and comedian in Kenya. She used her humor to become famous , during the Covid 19 period. Her journey to success hasn’t been easy.

She tried several times , failing but she didn’t give up on her dreams. Through persistence and hardwork, she eventually made it in life. The ‘inaniaffeact, inanichoke’, slogan made her famous.

Background of Cartoon Comedian.

Her real name is Vanessa Akinyi. She is a Luo but, she was born in Pumwani, and brought up in Nairobi, Kayole. She was . She has tried to keep her family private and less is known about her parents and siblings. However she comes from a humble background.

Her Education Background.

Vanessa went to Donholm Primary School. Since she was young she used to be funny. She proceeded to highschool and after secondary she decided to start hustling in order to earn a living and also support her parents.

She is however the lastborn in the family of four.  Her relationship status is private, though she has ever suffered from depression after going through a heartbreak.

Selling Omena in the Slums of Mathare .

Life was very tough and she had to do anything to earn money. Cartoon Therefore used to hawk Omena in the slums atleast to make a living. It wasn’t an easy job but she did it with all her heart believing that one day things will change.

Career Journey.

Her journey in the comedy and content creation field hasn’t been easy. She used to go at the theatre for training and here Churchill noticed her. She was given chances on Churchill show several times, but she somehow failed.

The show didn’t give her the fame she was expecting. So despite being seen on TV she was still struggling with life. She decided to start making funny skits with her best friend, Diana Daisy and A certain boy.

She went viral after she shot a video of her having an episode with her boyfriend who allegedly speaks too much English and yet she is a girl from the ghetto used to speaking Sheng’.

In the video which has over forty thousand views online, she says to him that his English “inaniaffect.. Inanisuffocate”.  The video entertained alot of Kenyans and that is how her life started changing.

Making Millions of Money from Content Creation and Brand Deals.

Before starting to publish on her Youtube Channel, Cartoon Featured on Sweet Moyo , love series. The telenovela was very famous and she was the main actress .

After going viral Cartoon decided to boost her social media pages and also her YouTube Channel. She started uploading funny clips .She became a  bigger brand and started making good amount of money from her content .
