The party leader of ODM, Oburu Odinga has made it clear that in 2027 they must be in government. He said that there is no party in the world that was formed to be in opposition, all parties are formed to be in the government, the same applies to ODM.

Oburu said that for ODM to implement it’s power and serve Kenyans well they must be in government. Oburu said that they are in broadbased government and in 2027, they will also be in the race of forming the government, or they will work together with the party that will form the government.

This clearly shows that Oburu has bowed down to the pressure, and it seems like ODM will merge with UDA and the two might support each other in 2027. Already few members of ODM have made it clear that they will support William Ruto in 2027.
