A few months ago Shifrah was a hitsong and it was trending both in Uganda and Kenya. Kenyans did crazy challenges to make the song go viral on Tiktok and this made the lady identified as Shifrah to become very relevant.
Her challenge gained millions of views on Tiktok, she was famous than the owner of the song, who is a Ugandan musician identified as Hoozambe.
The two landed into well paying shows in Kenya, the promoters paid them good amount of money, which is alot when converted to Ugandan currency.
Immediately after performing in Kenya, the fame begun to fade and Shifrah wasn’t getting shows or deals. Life has now become difficult for her, she can’t even afford basic needs and she is unable even to pay her rent.
