Akuku Danger is slowly regaining his normality after being admitted in hospital for more than 3 months. Akuku Danger was in and out of the ICU, and chances of him surviving were very low.
The comedian was admitted in the intensive care unit for four days. All this days Akuku wasn’t speaking or opening eyes.
Speaking in an interview with Mpasho, Akuku said it was very tough and the only person who was there for him was Sandra Dacha and his close family, all his friends were unbothered and even many thought he will die.
By the grace of God he is alive and being on medication has helped him to regain energy. He said his lungs can now work very well and he feels much better.
However on a sad note, Akuku revealed that he is suffering from Sickle Cell Anemia, which is a common inherited illness and most people from the lake region usually suffer from this illness however it is not that extreme.
Sickle cell anemia is one of a group of inherited disorders known as sickle cell disease. It affects the shape of red blood cells, which carry oxygen to all parts of the body.
Akuku said it is a condition he has been suffering from since he was born, however sometimes it usually gets worse and that is where things begin to be tough, but for now everything is very fine.
