Embakasi East Member of Parliament, Babu Owino finally decided to open up on replacing Raila Odinga at ODM if he wins the chair of African Union Seat.
Babu Owino said that he respects Raila Odinga very much, and he looks up to him, he said that he is his father in politics, and he listens to anything that Raila Odinga usually advises him to do.
He however said that if Raila wins the AU seat and decides to handover the leadership of ODM to someone else, then he is the one who deserves that leadership role. He said he has qualities of a good leader and he is well civilised.
Babu Owino said that he knows Kalonzo Musyoka, Hassan Joho, Oparanya and Sifuna are also leaders and they are capable of leading the party, but he thinks he is the one who deserves that leadership role and he is ready to go for it if Raila Odinga decides to handover.
