Afande Denno Finally Quits Being A Police Officer A Week After Receiving A Firing Letter From NPS.

One of the most famous and celebrated Kenyan police officers, Afande Denno, has finally decided to quit the police service just a week after he received a letter from the National Police Service asking him to explain why he should not be dismissed. The main reason the service wanted to fire him was his open support for the Gen Z movement during the Maandamano (protests).

Speaking in a viral video, Afande Denno stated that he is done being a police officer. He urged people to stop asking him questions related to the police force. Having served for eight years, he said it is now time for him to shift gears and pursue a new path. Denno is among the few officers who stood in solidarity with young people, actively opposing police brutality.

He was even seen participating in the Maandamano alongside Gen Z protesters. This act prompted the government, through the National Police Service, to issue him a dismissal letter. Denno, however, expressed that he is at peace with his decision. He is now focusing on his new career as a full-time content creator.
