One of the most famous and celebrated Kenyan comedians, content creators, scriptwriters, and CEO of SPM Buzz, Eddie Butita, has opened up about how being a comedian changed his life.

Speaking through an online media platform, Butita said that he is successful today because of comedy. It was his breakthrough in life. Were it not for comedy, he might not have achieved what he has accomplished so far.

Butita shared that he has been in the entertainment industry for 15 years now. He credits consistency and his willingness to evolve as key factors that have helped him stay relevant in the industry. He now owns a production company and has employed a significant number of people. SPM Buzz, a media and production house, is owned and managed by Butita.

He also revealed that he has launched a creators’ academy, which is currently performing very well. He is focused on transforming the content creation industry and is optimistic that, very soon, the field will produce highly unique and creative content creators.
