Eddie Butita finally decided to open up on the type of a lady he wants. This is after being single for quite sometime. Since breaking up with Mammito Eunice, which was a very smooth break up, Butita has never made his things public again.

In 2023 it was romoured that he was dating Sadia, something that he denied. He said that him and Sadia were just best friends who were having some good time together. It turned out to be true because Sadia later introduced her boyfriend but after few months they parted ways.

In an interview with Obinna Tv, Butita decided to open up, Obinna asked him if he can give Jackie Vike or famous as Awinja Nyamwalo a chance , or if the two can be a thing.
Eddie Butita confidently said that Awinja Nyamwalo is not his type. He said that they are both Luhyas and that marriage can’t work completely. He gave several excuses that some seemed to be facts, while others were just meant to be for online bunter.
He said that Awinja Nyamwalo is beautiful and he is a wife material , but another big problem is how she is a deep Luhya, he even compared her to Mulamwah, and used some of Luhya words to describe her, hence coming to a conclusion that the two can only be friends.

The other thing that is important is that Awinja is a close best friend to Butita’s ex girlfriend Mammito, that also shows how their relationship can’t work, Mammito might feel betrayed.

Butita said that he is open to dating any lady, but they must approach him first. In the previous interview, the comedian had confessed his crush on famous female tiktoker Kayetorwa, and showed an interest in her. However he is yet to make a move because he said he is the prize and ladies should look for him.
